\u201cEU Impact in Kosovo\u201d is a project implemented by the AAB College and supported by the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Program.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this project is to create the first module in higher education in Kosovo related to the influence of the EU in building peace, reconciliation and democratization in Kosovo. more specifically, the project aims to:<\/p>\n

– Establish the module: \u201cThe impact of EU on peace building, reconciliation and democratization of Kosovo\u201d as an open elective course in AAB College for different study disciplines in Bachelor degree, such as Faculty of Law, Public\n Administration, Social Sciences, Economics and Psychology.<\/p>\n

– Make evidence of the impact of EU on peace building, reconciliation and democratization of Kosovo, by engaging students on volunteer research work, to analyze the policies (document analysis), practices (implementation of policy)\n and experiences (how do people and communities feel about these policies).<\/p>\n

– Disseminate knowledge regarding the topic, through sensitizations sessions and presentations held from students in settings beyond academia (high schools) and through digital and traditional media.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The main activities of this project include:<\/p>\n

1. The creation and delivery of the module “The impact of EU on peace building, reconciliation and democratization in Kosovo” which is offered as an elective in the second year of studies for students of the Faculty of Law, Faculty\n of Administration Public Schools, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Psychology. The project aims for at least 50 students to attend this module every year. The lectures will cover topics\n related to the impact of the EU on the rehabilitation of Kosovo after the conflict, in several areas as follows: Peace building, reconciliation, social dialogue, democratization, diversity and inclusiveness, political capacity building,\n reconstruction economic and civil society. There will also be complementary open lectures, where experts in the field will be invited to share their expertise. The module will be taught for two semesters (56 hours), for three years.<\/p>\n

2. Writing a research report on the impact of EU on Kosovo democratization. The research will include the work of students to develop literature and field research, to analyze the impact of the EU in Kosovo, in terms of policies (document\n analysis), practice (implementation of policies) and experience (how people and the community feel about these policies).<\/p>\n

3. Holding dissemination activities where students will organize at least 30 awareness sessions with high school seniors in order to raise awareness and increase their interest in EU studies.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
